Cricket Blast 3.0: A Celebration of Talent and Team Spirit by AS Overseas
The echoes of victory are still resounding from the iconic SKBZ Ground, where the third edition of Cricket Blast unfolded on the 10th of February, 2024.
AS Overseas Education Consultants proudly organized this cricket extravaganza, which has quickly become a beacon of sportsmanship and camaraderie among students and cricket enthusiasts.
This year, the event was nothing short of spectacular, with four formidable teams vying for the coveted title.
The Victorious On Campus Loughborough
Cheers to the triumphant OnCampus Loughborough team and their captain, Ahmed Saya, for clinching the title in a display of skill, strategy, and unwavering determination. Their journey to the top was a testament to their hard work and team spirit, setting a benchmark for future competitions.
Player of the Tournament: Taha Humayun
Hats off to Taha Humayun, the game changer of Cricket Blast 3.0! His outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned him the prestigious Player of the Tournament award. Taha’s exceptional skills and strategic gameplay were instrumental in turning the tide of matches, making him a true cricketing sensation.
The Competing Teams
The third edition of Cricket Blast saw the participation of four spirited teams: OnCampus Loughborough, University of Essex, Oxford International Education Group, and Shorelight. Each team, led by their respective captains—Ahmed Saya (OnCampus Loughborough), Kashan Iqbal (University of Essex), Omair Masood (Oxford International Education Group), and Adeel Paperwala (Shorelight)—showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
